When is it?

Since 2014, our Community Action Norwich Café has been a warm and friendly space where everyone is welcome. Enjoy a cup of tea and homemade cake while connecting with others in a supportive, community-focused environment.

More than just a café, we partner with local organisations like the Norwich Foodbank to provide practical assistance and holistic support.

With the cost of living crisis more and more people are finding themselves on the breadline and unable to pay for essentials.

Accessing a foodbank can be a daunting and embarrassing process, especially if it's your first time.

Partnering with Norwich Foodbank we provide a discrete foodbank service by which users can enjoy the cafe while our expert volunteers arrange and pass on emergency food parcels without joining a queue.

Volunteering

Aside from assisting with people's needs, the café is a way in which CAN gets to know the members of the community. Many who come through the doors of the café stay with us as volunteers, either on a Wednesday at the café or on one of our other projects. If you want to serve the local community our Cafe is a fantastic place to start.

• In order to access the foodbank you must have been referred by another service.

• They will give you an online voucher which is checked at the cafe.
